Description
The contract will provide support to Devon local authorities and Torbay Council to help reduce their costs by enhancing their recycling rates and reducing residual waste to disposal providing a team of advisors and supporting expertise.The Recycling Advisors will work with the local authorities to visit low to medium performing households and communities giving advice to those who need it on recycling, reducing contamination and waste prevention. They will also assist in the office compiling databases, reviewing communications and attend at roadshows.The Contract will entail the provision of the Services from 01.04.2021 until 31.03.2023. Subject to mutual agreement of the parties, the contract may be extended for a period or periods totalling a maximum further period of 3 years beyond 31.03.2023. Additional information: One of the essential requirements by DCC for this Procurement is that the applicants must be able to demonstrate to DCC’s satisfaction that they have similar past experience of providing one-to-one engagement with householders via Doorstepping and carrying out participation in monitoring of waste collection services
