Description
The Authority’s current group company car scheme is designed to offer a contractual benefit of a car for business use for employees, with the additional benefit of private use for which benefit in kind tax is paid by the employee. The scheme is split into two sections (operational and management) with vehicles in the operational bands, where the highest volumes of employees are found, being provided in four vehicle categories: hatchback, estate, SUV & AWD. An offering of full EV (BEV) and hybrid (PHEV) are required for each category. The Personal Used Contribution for operational bands is fixed depending on category car chosen and management bands have the option to fund up to maximum limits depending on band entitlement.
