Description

The Authority has a varied housing and non-housing estate. The property estate covers a very wide range of building and property types of increasing age and varied condition including some listed buildings. The valuation of the listed properties are being instructed and prepared for Balance Sheet purposes in order to meet the requirements of IAS 16/IFRS 16 and to ensure full compliance with the Government Financial Reporting Manual (FReM). The Scottish Police Authority (known as the “the Authority”) requires a competent Contractor to deliver Heritable Asset Valuations for Police Scotland Land, Buildings and Radio Sites. The valuations must be carried out in accordance with the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) Valuation - Global Standards 2020.
