Description
A targeted service for community pharmacy to support the current national measles incident by offering an MMR vaccine to 5 - 11yrs olds on a walk in basis in a small number of pharmacy's. The selected pharmacy's have been targeted due to their experience in already delivering vaccinations to children with in the eligible cohort. A GP referral tool has been built in EMIS but this will only be used with the permission of the parent/guardian on the identified child. The relevant authority intends to award this contract under the urgent circumstances provision under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.
