National Museums Liverpool, whose legal name is National Museums & Galleries on Merseyside (NMGM), is inviting tenders for a procurement to appoint an Architectural Design Team which will consist of Lead Consultant and Principal Designer (the Architect) and sub-consultant team. The team is to work with National Museum Liverpool (NML) and our community partners in developing the transformation project for both the International Slavery Museum and the Maritime Museum (ISM and MM). This would entail the refurbishment of both the Martin Luther King Jr Building and the Hartley Pavilion and the creation of a link bridge between both buildings at first floor level.The Architect will act as ‘Lead consultant’ and Principal Designer for the Architectural Design team, and shall provide, or procure a team of Sub-Consultants for the services outlined below and in the Annex 1-6.
