Description
The appointed supplier will sample lubricant oil at predetermined, regular intervals. The sample is to be analysed for various properties and material to monitor gearbox wear and oil contamination. Sampling and analysing lubricant oil on a regular basis establishes a baseline of normal wear and can help indicate when abnormal gearbox wear or oil contamination is occurring.
