Description
The Authority intends to award a contract to an existing provider following Direct Award Process C under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) This is a fundamental service for the dual diagnosis model in Hartlepool which provides improved access for people accessing START to efficient primary mental health support. The service provider works extremely closely with secondary mental health services TEWV and PMHT as well as other partner agencies to reduce health inequalities. Individuals are offered choice when it comes to mental health pathways, their treatment and support. Service users take an active part in the development or their care plans from initial assessment to discharge. The service provider has a requirement to understand the health care needs of those using substances and having a mental health need in Hartlepool and offer additional services accordingly, such as access to groups and psychotherapy.
