Description
Funding has been secured from National Highways from the Designated Fund associated with the improvements being undertaken as part of the A63 Castle Street scheme and the Authority’s capital provision, in order that three city centre streets can be enhanced to the public realm standard. Improvements to Princes Dock Street and Humber Dock Street will be consistent and complementary to previous and ongoing public realm regeneration, including the Hull City Council's Public Realm Strategy developed and implemented as part of preparations for City of Culture 2017. The proposed works aim to create attractive, engaging, people-centric spaces which are flexible and durable.
