ASPH required immediate access to additional elective surgical capacity to deliver statutory RTT and clinical prioritisation duties. Surrey Heartlands ICB provided time‑limited elective recovery funding requiring urgent deployment. Nuffield Health Woking Hospital confirmed near‑term capacity for the required procedures. A competitive process was not feasible within the required timeframe. All local independent sector provider hospitals, including Nuffield Health Woking Hospital, Epsomedical Ltd at Cobham Day Surgery and Circle Health Group, have been engaged and awarded contracts to support ASPH's elective recovery requirements.
