Description
The Council of the Borough of Kirklees (the "Council") is conducting this procurement exercise, in accordance with the Light Touch Regime of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/102), and intends to establish an Electronic Market Place ("EMP") with Providers with relevant experience and ability for the provision of Supported Accommodation to looked after or care leavers aged 16+. The Council established a 16+ Supported Accommodation Electronic Market Place (EMP) to meet its duties under the Childrens Act 1989 & 2004 when securing a Supported Accommodation placement for either; · a looked after child is placed in an 'other arrangements' placement or · a care leaver is placed in 'suitable accommodation' Additional information: Category 2 - Supported accommodation in a shared or group living situation (Ring fenced for looked after children and care leavers only) The accommodation is for looked after children and care leavers only.
