Description
This notice is an Intention to Award Notice for NHS Health Checks, Provider Selection Regime, Most Suitable Provider Process. This notice begins the 8 working day standstill period. Any representations relating to the Intention to award must be received by midnight on 22/11/2024 as per the requirements of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulation 2023. The new contractual arrangement will require them to deliver the key components of the NHS Health Check, namely risk assessment, risk awareness and risk management. Any additional testing or clinical follow up remains the responsibility for primary care, however there is an expectation that patients are provided with relevant lifestyle information and advice as part of the communication of the results of their health check.
