Description
This Intention to Award Notice is issued in accordance with the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 under the competitive process. The Procurement relates to the Invitation to Tender for the procurement of Targeted Lung Healthcare Checks. The purpose of this procurement was to secure a Service Provider to deliver Targeted Lung Healthcare Checks across the geographical area covered by NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Integrated Care Board (ICB). This is a new service being established by NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin ICB. The primary aim of the TLHC Programme is to reduce mortality from lung cancer by raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of lung cancer, promoting positive messages around early diagnosis and then actively targeting people at highest risk of having lung cancer so that they can receive the checks and tests required to provide an earlier diagnosis.
