Description
Winstanley College is a large, Ofsted Outstanding sixth-form college providing post-16 education to students aged 16–18. The College offers a broad range of academic and vocational programmes, including A-levels, T-levels and applied qualifications, supporting progression to higher education, apprenticeships and employment. Current student numbers are stable, with approximately 1,113 students in Year 12 and 1,073 students in Year 13, giving a total cohort of around 2,200 students. Forecasts indicate that student numbers are expected to remain consistent in future years, with no anticipated changes likely to significantly impact recruitment.
