The service will: • Provide an accessible, safe and effective service that is professional, user-friendly, non-judgemental, person-centred, confidential and easily accessible • Help people to achieve abstinence and lead alcohol free lives • Help people maintain and improve their general health and well-being by providing support, advice and linking them into other health and care provision • Contribute to a reduction in alcohol related hospital admissions and alcohol related deaths in the community. • Help people to benefit from economic growth in the city by supporting access to employment skills, training and volunteering opportunities. • Contribute to a reduction in health inequalities by providing help and supporting access to housing and other services to address non-medical needs.
