Description
Post-COVID-19 syndrome is characterised by signs and symptoms that develop during or after an infection consistent with COVID-19, continue for >12 weeks, and are not explained by an alternative diagnosis. Common symptoms of long COVID include but not limited to fatigue, breathlessness, and 'brain fog'. A digital version of the C19-YRS questionnaire recommended by NHS England to grade the severity of prevalent post-Covid or "long Covid" symptoms following contraction of the illness over an indefinite period has been developed by the digital health company, ELAROS, in a collaborative partnership with The University of Leeds and Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust. Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is intending to award a contract an existing provider following direct award process C. The service will be operational between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026
