Description
Provision of renewal and heavy maintenance of track and track bed formation, initially on London Underground network only, but potentially in future on TfL's Elizabeth Line, Trams, Dockland Light Railway & London Overground networks by contract variation. Scope includes: - Rail heavy maintenance - Rail replacement - Spot sleepering - Tube Reconditioning Services - Fettling & packing - Rail stressing - Conductor rail heavy maintenance, replacement and conversion - Flat Bottom Conversion - Topological surveys - Points and crossings heavy maintenance and replacements - Rectification of wet beds - Replacement of geotextile membrane - Removal of scrap materials - Track drainage and treatments to deal with wet track. - Compacting new ballast, checking and resetting the track line, level and cant - Track surveys including CCTV pipe surveys to check condition of existing drainage systems. Additional information: Individual contracts will be awarded following a mini-competition process.
