Description
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council invited tenders for the collection, treatment and RDF/SRF processing of municipal waste for a period of 6 Months from Commencement of Contracts (Approximately September/October 2024) for each of Two Lots, with options, entirely at the discretion of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, to extend the Contracts for each lot for a further period of 6 months or Part Thereof. The contract materials will consist of residual waste arising from the Council kerbside refuse collection service and recycling centre residual waste. The successful contractor will process the contract material by the removal/recovery of any recyclable material and processing of residues into RDF/SRF fuel. The aim of the contract services will be to divert residual wastes from landfill to assist the Council in meeting its landfill diversion targets.
