Contract Award Notice Direct Award Process C<br/>"The West Herts Virtual Hospital (often called ""Hospital at Home"") was established on March 13, 2020. It was launched by WHTH in partnership with CLCH as the UK's first Covid-19 virtual hospital to prevent Watford General from being overwhelmed.<br/><br/>Since then, the pioneering model has evolved beyond Covid-19 to treat patients with heart failure, COPD, and acute respiratory infections. <br/>"The service was established 13 March 2020 jointly between WHTH and CLCH.<br/><br/>CLCH are an existing provider of community services for the West Herts and wider Central East ICB area.
