Description
North Yorkshire Council hosts a variety of events throughout the year at a number of venues. Delivery of this service will primarily be in Scarborough and Whitby but could be required across other areas of the county on an ad hoc basis. The aim for this service is to ensure that there is an appropriate level of medical, first aid and ambulance provision at an event to keep attendees safe and minimise the impact on local NHS services. The provider will be required to: • Undertake a medical, ambulance and first aid assessment. • Produce a medical staffing plan prior to each event to ensure that staff are deployed appropriately • Provide medical provision for the full duration of each event, including build up and derig. This notice sets out the intention to conclude a competitive process and award a framework agreement to a single supplier for provision of Event Medical Services.
