Description

Renewal contract and secure ongoing licence to use PINS - the Prisoner Intelligence Notification System. The use of PINS is necessary so that the Force has visibility of the prison population within England and Wales, allowing for movements of prisoners and upcoming releases to be tracked by the respective force. The system also allows force's to complete intelligence work in order to better protect the public by identifying linked offenders and prolific gangs, so that these can be tracked throughout their sentences but also after release.
