Description
The service provides occupational physiotherapy and musculoskeletal absence management services for Council employees, including remote and face-to-face assessments, treatment and rehabilitation, fast-track access to urgent appointments, workplace assessments, health and wellbeing initiatives, and virtual physiotherapy support to promote recovery, employee wellbeing and timely return to work. The Council intends to award a contract to the existing provider following Direct Award Process C under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, having determined that the existing provider satisfies the relevant criteria and is capable of continuing to deliver the service to the required standard. The approximate lifetime value of the contract is approximately £310,000 (exclusive of VAT).
