Description
Services provided are to meet the following outcomes: 1. Reduce Avoidable Mental Health attendances to emergency departments (EDs); 2. Support rapid and safe discharge from A&E (i.e. avoid 4hr / 12hr breaches); 3. Reduce avoidable emergency admissions to general acute hospitals or mental health hospitals; 4. Facilitate earlier discharge from general or T4 mental health hospitals Due to the urgent pressures within Emergency Departments these contracts have been awarded under the urgent award route of PSR. The lifetime value of the contracts is £2,231,922 and the contracts run from 1st October 2026 until 31st March 2027.
