Description
Exacom, Building Safety Levy and Public Facing Modules. This contract is for the provision of additional Idox Exacom software modules required to enable Northumberland County Council to administer and collect the new Building Safety Levy (BSL), which comes into force on 1 October 2026 under the Building Safety Act 2022 and the Building Safety Levy (England) Regulations 2025. The software will support the management of levy-related processes within the Council's Building Control service and includes integration between the existing Idox Uniform system and Exacom, allowing data to flow seamlessly between systems and reducing duplicate data entry. The solution is required to ensure the Council 22/12/23 v4 can meet its new statutory responsibilities as the levy collecting authority for qualifying residential developments.
