Description
Council advertised two tenders to run consecutively. The first for the reroofing and retrofitting of roof insulation and the subsequent one for the installation on solar PV panels and battery storage. Following careful analysis of all tenders received, Council has awarded both tenders to a single contractor (Primis Roofing and Construction Ltd) that is able to carry out both contracts for the sums outlined below:- Roofing and insulation contract: £71,625.25 Solar PV and battery installation contract:£23,727.20 Council has also allowed a 10% contingency overall for the combined contract.
