Description

The Defra Group Integration Layer provides secure integration infrastructure and services to facilitate the electronic exchange of data between Defra Group systems and livestock traceability systems across England, Scotland and Wales. The service supports event-driven integration and service-oriented architecture, enabling APHA systems, including Sam, NDOMs, TSE and Radar, to interface with the multi-species platforms operated across the UK Administrations. It supports the exchange of livestock traceability data in a common format to enable the UK View. The Integration Layer also provides a strategic capability to support future data-sharing requirements, including the provision of TB status information to support Knowledge Based Trading.
