Awarded without open competition
Awarded without open competition. The buyer went directly to one or a few suppliers instead of advertising the contract. Procurement rules allow this only in specific cases, such as extreme urgency, when only one supplier can do the work, or for call-offs from an existing framework.

Description
The contract is for the emergency demolition and removal of an existing unsafe classroom building at Robert Peel Primary School and the relocation and installation of a modular building to provide two replacement classrooms. The works include site preparation, groundworks and foundations, transportation and installation of the modular building, internal refurbishment to meet the school's requirements, and associated external works, including making good the playground. The works are required urgently following structural concerns that resulted in the existing classroom building being condemned as unsafe for use.
