Description
The Action to Combat Transnational Serious and Organised Crime Programme in Latin America (ACTS LATAM) is a regional programme focused on strengthening organisational effectiveness to identify, disrupt and suppress serious and organised crime and the illicit economies it generates across Latin America, particularly those linked to cocaine flows reaching the UK. ACTS LATAM builds on the work of its predecessor, the ISF Combatting Illicit Economies Programme, and is funded by the Global Serious and Organised Crime Portfolio managed by the UK Home Office. The programme works with a range of state institutions, providing expert assistance to strengthen national strategies and operational responses to serious and organised crime, illicit financial flows and linked corruption.
