Description
Contract is for the design stage under a preconstruction service agreement which will then be followed with a construction stage contract following planning approval and construction costs having been established. LCC will have the opportunity to assess the construction stage affordability before progressing into the construction contract and will obtain cost plans during the design stage. There is a requirement for the progression of the feasibility design, planning approval and construction to deliver a new area special school (250 places) on part of the land known as the Firs Farm, Husbands Bosworth owned by LCC. Project to be delivered in phases subject to budget availability, expected to be phase 1 - 150 pupils and phase 2 - 100 pupils.
