Description
This has been awarded under Framework Agreement ref. NOE.0626 for the Provision of Total Waste Management Services III. This encompasses the collection, segregation, recycling, treatment, transportation and final disposal of domestic, general waste, hazardous (non-healthcare waste) and miscellaneous waste as per best practice guidelines set out in HTM 07-01 management and disposal of healthcare waste. The contractor will monitor healthcare, domestic, general, hazardous (non-healthcare) waste streams from collection to final disposal. Healthcare Waste (includes infectious clinical waste; hazardous waste; offensive/hygiene waste and wastes that are dangerous for carriage). Hazardous non-healthcare waste refers to hazardous items that fall within the Hazardous Waste Regulations and the European Waste Catalogue.
