Description

CQC determines when and where a Well Led Review will be undertaken. NHS England is responsible for determining whether a Financial Governance assessor is required to join the review team, based on an assessment of financial risk, and for securing an appropriately qualified and knowledgeable individual with significant experience at Executive Director of Finance level (or equivalent) to undertake that role. CQC have recently confirmed a pipeline of 5 Well Led inspections to be undertaken by 30 April 2026. North East and Yorkshire region Finance Director has determined that a financial governance assessor is required for each inspection. Each inspection will require up to 9 days work.
