Description
The North East Enhanced Immunisation Service is designed to deliver immunisations to the population in the North East of the borough, particularly the Charedi community. The Charedi community has lower vaccine uptake rates than the average amongst Hackney residents. The aims of the service are provided below: To overcome barriers to access by providing regular Enhanced Access Clinics to residents in the North-East of Hackney; To offer routine and catch-up vaccinations (to anyone eligible, as per criteria detailed below), including providing pregnancy vaccinations, in order to increase immunisations take-up and cover within the borough; To ensure those eligible for vaccination are aware of the offer and encourage them to come forward; To continuously improve the Service based on learning, feedback and evaluation; To work flexibly with the NEL ICB, the Council and other relevant partners, in order to identify, report and react to emerging risks and concerns The Enhanced immunisation ser…
