Further Competition from the Electronic Market Place for the Provision of Adult Education, Training, Employment & Lifelong Learning. The Council of the Borough of Kirklees (the "Council") wishes to establish a programme of services with between six (6) and ten (10) suitable Delivery Partners for Adult Learning in Kirklees. Adult Learning Kirklees is part of the Employment and Skills Service and aims to develop a culture of lifelong learning in the district. We want Kirklees to be a place where the importance of learning throughout life is deep-rooted. Kirklees is a designated UNESCO Town of Learning, reflecting the Council's commitment to lifelong learning as a central driver of inclusive economic growth, social wellbeing and community resilience.
