Description
Central Bedfordshire Council is seeking to appoint suitably qualified consultants to prepare an update to the Water Cycle Study (WCS) for Central Bedfordshire, to support the new local plan. The existing WCS was prepared in 2017 to support the adopted Local Plan and an updated study is necessary to provide the most up to date picture of factors affecting Central Bedfordshire's water and waste water environment including a review of infrastructure and environmental factors, legislative requirements, any new challenges that arise since the last study and any recommended interventions. This is a key evidence base document for the new Local Plan and needs to be commissioned as soon as possible in order to feed into the public consultation in early 2026.
