Description
Hopwood Hall College was looking to procure set of AV/IT Integrated Furniture for the Milnrow Chapel, located at the Middleton Campus. Milnrow Chapel will be transformed into a new teaching space. The new classrooms within the building will be used by the College's Engineering and Manufacturing T-Levels curriculum. A direct award is proposed for the supply and installation of bespoke made furniture due to the limited time available to undertake a further competitive procurement exercise and the need to ensure continuity and delivery within the required timeframe. The proposed supplier has the necessary experience, capability, and understanding of the bespoke requirements to deliver the furniture within the required timescales. Proceeding with the direct award reduces the risk of delay, and provides assurance that the required specification and quality standards can be achieved.
