Description
The Buyer is an Executive Agency of the Department for Transport (DfT), based in Swansea. The Buyer's primary aims are to facilitate road safety and general law enforcement by maintaining accurate registers of drivers and vehicle keepers and to collect Vehicle Excise Duty (VED). In March 2005 the Buyer entered a 20-year PFI Contract for the refurbishment of the estate and the provision of facilities management ("FM") services. The overarching PFI agreement will expire on 31st March 2025. The Buyer requires a Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance Service provider from the point of exit commencing 1st April 2025 across the Buyer's Swansea estate, comprising of Morriston, Swansea Vale and Ty Felin and Ty Forest in Fforestfach. The Buyer requires bidders to provide innovative proposals in response to this Specification to assist the Buyer's strategy of providing modern services across all their services.
