Description
This tender was conducted for the provision of Engine Overhaul & Repair Services for Class 170 & 171 Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) vehicles. All overhauls considered are to be undertaken in line with EMS-PRO-171-4001, Issue 1, GTR - Class 171 Engine Raft Overhaul Specification. The procurement was undertaken in accordance with the Utilities Contract Regulations (UCR 2016) and utilised The Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) as a means of pre-qualification to shortlist potential providers. The following approach was undertaken: Identification of the relevant suppliers via RISQS. Expression of Interest (EOI). Issued via RISQS to applicants with the intention to be shortlisted for the tender stage. Invitation to Negotiate (ITN). Issued via the Delta e-sourcing portal.
