Description

Total Quantity or Scope To cover Magnox's waste programme, up to 30 additional MOSAIK® s containers is assumed for forecasting purposes to complete the packaging of operational ILW. This is in addition to the 114 MOSAIK® s on order with GNS planned for delivery to Magnox Ltd between 2021 and 2024. Storage and transportation services will be required to agreed timescales to meet the requirements for Magnox waste processing projects at various sites. Provide rental of transport equipment and associated training for loading and unloading of DCICs. Provision of parts and spares to ensure that the Magnox fleet of DCICs are adequately covered as specified by the maintenance schedules. Typically items cover complete sets of protective lid screws, closure lid screws, closure lid O-ring seals, main O-ring seals, lubricants and container identification plates. Additionally, there is a requirement for the supply of paints for undertaking DCIC repairs using paint systems as specified by GNS. The technical consultancy associated with the use of DCICs remains an important element for ongoing Magnox Waste Programme business. GNS is the design authority for DCICs they supply and there is an ongoing requirement for maintaining this interface.
