Description

Construction of a flood protection scheme to protect 300 properties. The scheme includes construction of 1.2km of flood embankment with rock armour revetment and 0.8km of insitu concrete wall with rock armour revetment. In addition there are utility diversions, a secondary drainage system, footways and landscaping. The works are adjacent to the river Lochy (tidal section) and the shore of Loch Linnhe. The Contractor shall be responsible for the preparation, implementation and supervision of an environmental management plan for the works.
