Description
Lot 1 Single Homeless This contract relates to the provision of individually tailored housing related support that will be offered to single homeless people aged 18+ who have a wide range of often very complex needs. Service users may have mental health problems or learning difficulties, they may have offended, used drugs and/or alcohol, may be young people leaving care, they may have social exclusion issues, or they may belong to minority groups. Providers will need to support service users to deal with the root causes of homelessness and have the ability to effectively manage complex needs and chaotic behaviours that may result from these issues. Service Users will spend a maximum of two years in supported housing schemes to be able to learn the skills needed to live independently and move on into suitable long term accommodation as well as securing education, training or employment.
