Description
LPS uses Oracle software to underpin the OSNI mapping systems and the Data Spine project. LPS require a support and maintenance contract to Oracle to enable the software to have security patches applied, and updates to the software as older versions go out of support over the next three years. Oracle Corporation are the only supplier of Oracle software due to exclusive ownership and intellectual property rights. They are the only supplier of official software patches and updates to their software, and support to the core software.
