Description
Provision of Containers and Transportation of Litter, Bulky Waste, Green Waste: The contractor is to supply containers (either 35 or 50 cubic metres) and transportation. The contract shall be effective from no later than 5th August 2022 to 8th August 2024 with a possible extension of two, One year periods, upon satisfactory service delivery as deemed by the Council. The Council shall deliver all waste to its Knutton Lane Depot, Knutton Lane, Newcastle, ST5 2SL for the contractor to provide suitable and sufficient on site storage and licensed onward transportation to the Councils designated treatment facility(s). 1.1 To provide:- Containers for Litter, Bulky items and Green waste. Transport from Knutton Lane, Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5 2SL to end processer / disposal point. The Contractor shall maintain a certified system for recording weights of waste delivered to the treatment site which is approved by Staffordshire County Council.
