Description
This notice is for an intention to award a contract, for West Lancashire Integrated Care Services, under a competitive process. Integrated Urgent Care Services will be provided to individuals who are, or believe themselves to be, acutely ill with a condition that requires urgent attention, such that their immediate care needs cannot safely be deferred until the next day or to the end of the out of hours period. It is required to be sustainable, based on a service model that is clinically and commercially robust that can attract and retain suitably qualified competent practitioners and integrate with other services. This provision includes the treatment of minor illnesses and injuries at Ormskirk Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) and Skelmersdale Walk in Centre (WIC), located within the West Lancashire area.
