Description
The purpose of the requirement is to ensure that NRW meets its statutory duties and provides a Harvesting service for South Wales. This will also include manual felling, winch and banksmen provision, for clearfell and thinning. Contractors will plan harvesting operations and prepare a detailed Method Statement and Risk Assessment for all harvesting activities within the required coupes, to the satisfaction of the Forestry Operations Contracts manager.
