Description
The purpose of this competition for Lot 2 “Family Learning - supporting parents with children’s schoolwork” is to invite bids to create and deliver training provision for parents wanting to increase their numeracy skills in order to help their children with schoolwork, and also help with their own progression. Provision should enhance and scale up the family learning offer in Essex, whilst providing opportunities for parents to learn some valuable skills for life too. Proposed curriculums for this provision should directly link to the current Mathematics curriculum as part of the National Curriculum for pupils in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2. Eligible target learners are parents and carers 19+ who have not previously attained a GCSE Grade 4/C or higher maths qualification and would like to enhance their knowledge.
