Description
The service is the Professional Therapeutic Pathway (PTP), it will deliver therapeutic interventions for children and young people (CYP) aged under 18 years old, who have been waiting for over 52 weeks for treatment by Central Norfolk CFYP services CYP will have been assessed by the central CFYP teams in accordance with their usual processes. If upon review it has been identified that their needs can be satisfactorily met by the sub-contractor, these cases will be allocated to the sub-contractor to complete their treatment. 108 cases will be referred. A weekly interface meeting will be scheduled to ensure the PTP has the relevant therapist (with the correct qualifications), as well as capacity to support the CYP in a timely manner. This will result in improved access waits and overall wait-to-treatment time. Those waiting the longest will be considered first.
