Description
The service partners will work together to define and deliver the services with a particular focus on:<br/>-Improve user-centred clinical care through the appropriate management of MSK conditions in line with NICE guidance, evidence based medicine and the MSF (issued by the Department of Health in 2006), Transforming musculoskeletal and orthopaedic elective care services (NHS England Nov 2017);<br/>-Improve diagnosis of MSK conditions in an appropriate and timely manner;<br/>-Build on skills and confidence of local GPs in the diagnosis and management of service users;<br/>-Deliver the Single Point of Referral (SPoR) for all Suffolk and Norfolk ICB referrals for T&O and MSK services, rheumatology as a pass through;<br/>-Accept referrals from the single point of referral for GP and Self-referrals for MSK and women’s health physiotherapy;<br/>-Continue to reduce inappropriate referrals to secondary care.
