Description
Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) have undertaken a review of Health Professional Education and Training Services delivered to NHS Wales. In order to increase psychology services workforce sustainability, HEIW sought to procure educational provisions for a Level 8 Clinical Psychology Doctorate Programme, a Level 7 Masters Programme for a new profession for Wales, namely Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology (CAAPs) and Level 1 and Level 2 Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Whilst four different levels of education and training are being procured, there are clear synergies across the programmes that align with one education provider to deliver all four education requirements.
