Description

The multi-disciplinary design team will be required to deliver a Technical Design that, ‎when accepted, will be constructed by the Grenfell Memorial Main Contractor under a ‎separate contract (to be procured). The design will be developed under a community-‎led design process that will be influenced and informed by bereaved, survivors and ‎immediate community. The lead designer will undertake the roles of Principal Designer ‎Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and, Principal Designer ‎‎(Building Regulations). The lead designer will lead and co-ordinate a multi-disciplinary ‎design team to develop the design of a fitting memorial that will stand the test of time ‎and act as a permanent symbol of remembrance. Developed iteratively, the lead ‎designer will be required to engage with bereaved, survivors and immediate community ‎in order to develop key principles that will underpin the delivery of the Technical ‎Design.
