Description
This notice constitutes an Intention to Award Notice and confirms the commissioner’s intention to award a contract following the application of a mini-competition under the Outsourcing of Clinical, Surgical & Diagnostics Services Framework Agreement under the Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales) Regulations for Lot 1: Southeast Health Boards (CAVUHB & CTMUHB): Orthopaedic treatment packages for predominantly Hip and Knee Primary Arthroplasty, Spines and Soft Tissue Operations. May include some Hand, Shoulder, Foot and Ankle surgery. The framework provides a compliant route for Health Boards to procure additional clinical capacity to support planned care recovery and reduce waiting times. CAVUHB and CTMUHB have developed an outsourcing plan to eliminate waits over 104 weeks for orthopaedic surgery procedures such as, Hip and Knee Primary Arthroplasty, Spines and Soft Tissue Operations.
