Description
The UK Government's Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions (UK PACT) programme is inviting quotations from qualified suppliers to establish and manage a responsive technical assistance facility in Mexico. Mexico is facing the challenge of increasing its climate ambition to fulfil its international commitment to achieve carbon neutrality by mid-century. To implement its Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC), the country requires robust policy instruments such as climate governance reforms, carbon pricing mechanisms, an emissions trading system (ETS), and a national strategy for electric mobility. To ensure effective implementation, Mexico's Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT) has requested the deployment of four embedded experts for 12 months.
